  1. PPD Serving at Red Robin to benefit Special Olympics

    October 21, 2017, 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM @ Puyallup Red Robin

Saturday, Oct 21st, members of the Puyallup Police Department will be serving as "Celebrity Waiters" at Red Robin to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics athletes in our community. In a time where the media is so focused on the negative interaction with police, events like this serve as a positive reminder to our community that law enforcement cares about its cities and citizens -- regardless of their intellectual abilities or disabilities. Puyallup is one of the 39 Red Robin locations participating Saturday, Oct 21st - 11am-2pm & 5pm-9pm. This event is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run campaign -- an organization created by police officers to help Special Olympic athletes. Those interested in learning more about how law enforcement officers around the world raised over $57,000,000 in 2016, can visit the Law Enforcement Torch Run website:
