City of Puyallup 2017 Budget in Brief

The City of Puyallup's budget is the means by which its elected officials determine how to spend limited revenues. As such, the budget reflects key policy decisions, and decides how programs and services are prioritized.

In the interest of providing an overview of the myriad details contained in the full budget document, the Budget in Brief presents selected information in a summarized, easy-to-digest fashion. The Budget in Brief explains the budget process, contains graphs and charts showing the continued progression of the City's total debt payoff, illustrates the City's revenue sources and how those revenues are used, and shares how your property taxes and sales taxes are allocated.
