Are you ready to explore the library and the world around you? Kids who take part in our summer reading program will receive a special passport that they can fill by reading books, attending events, and doing fun activities in the library and other places. Earn badges, win prizes, and build a better world this summer!

  • Read 10 hours AND
  • Earn 3 activity badges (by completing 9 different activities)

Once you complete the summer reading program, you'll receive a free book, a ticket to Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium OR Northwest Trek, and vouchers for free stuff from Round Table Pizza, Auntie Anne's, and other local businesses.

Prize Drawings

Throughout the summer, we'll be doing prize drawings for kids. This year, you don't have to worry about filling out tickets! By completing activities and earning badges, you'll automatically be entered into prize drawings throughout the summer. The more badges you earn, the more entries you'll get! So keep reading and participating all summer long for more chances to win.
