Summer Reading

Web SRP Home

Summer Reading registration has begun!

The Puyallup Public Library is pleased to offer summer reading programs for children, teens, and adults.
This year, we will host a variety of free events that encourage all ages to explore their library and the world around us.
Take part in activities, join us for library events, and - of course - read!
How does it work?

You can register yourself and your whole family in Beanstack (the service we use to track summer reading progress).
From there, you'll check off activities you've completed, enter the books you've read, write book reviews and more.
You'll receive different prizes along the way, and be entered into drawings at the end of the summer.
Please check the pages for children, teens and adults to see the individual requirements for those programs.

Don't forget that Beanstack has a new app, available for iOS and Android.

Summer Reading Kickoff Party!
Saturday, June 23
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us as we celebrate the start of summer reading with the Pacific Science Center.

Science on Wheels will be at the library to share the fun of physics with your family:
explore sound waves, electricity, and refraction.

It's not magic! It's science!

Community Reading Goal Web
Community Reading Goal

We've got a pretty big, audacious, incredible community goal this summer:
Puyallup's going to earn one million points during our summer reading program.
By reading, getting out there, creating art, doing something new...basically by having your best summer ever.
And when we get there, the library will host an ice cream party
for our summer readers in August.
