Eviction Moratoriums

On March 18th, 2020 Governor Inslee enacted a statewide moratorium on evictions of residential tenants for 60 days, or until the civil emergency ends (whichever comes sooner). This moratorium has been extended and is now set to expire, absent an additional extension, on June 30, 2021. Read the full proclamation here

The CDC also extended its nationwide moratorium on evictions until June 30, 2021.

Please note, payments will still be due once these moratoriums are lifted, and tenants/homeowners are expected to make payments on balances accrued. If able, consider talking to your landlord or mortgage service provider about a flexible payment plan instead.
